After a brief hiatus from the market, HMD Global last year bought its Nokia devices into the reckoning with the launch of a slew of smartphones. While most did receive a positive response, it was the Nokia 6 which was considered the best-performing smartphone of the lot. When Nokia launched its successor, Nokia 6.1 a couple of months back, there was bound to be curious as will it be able to live up to its predecessor’s billing. The budget smartphone category is one of the tightly-contested and Nokia really needs a winner to make a mark. While Nokia 6.1 retains the core of Nokia 6 in design it gets chamfered edges and a copper coating around the corners, camera, and the fingerprint scanner.
